Charlotte Ladegård is a ceramic artist and crafts geek located in Oslo, Norway. After studying three-dimensional techniques at Einar Granum School of fine art from 2010-12, she went on to the Art and Craft department at Oslo National Academy of the Arts. In 2015 she graduated with a BFA in medium and materialbased arts, with a specialization in ceramics.

Her first years after graduation focused on evolving her BFA-project One is not born a woman into her first solo-exhibition. The exhibition consisted of ceramic sculptures, paintings, embroideries and ready mades, together forming a homage and modern interpretation of Simone de Beauvoirs theories about the female sex.

In the spring of 2017 Charlotte's work changed directions, as she returned to her passion for making hand made ceramic ware. Inspired both by industrial ceramics and traditional japanese pottery, her products bring together precise forms and unpredictable glazes in a range of different techniques and expressions.

As of january 2018 she is working with her production of unika ceramics full time from Studio M20 in Gamlebyen, Oslo. The webshop will be updated periodically after each batch is ready to go out, starting with the first part of the Øst-collection in June 2018.
